At CABII (Cars And Bikes In India), we are committed to providing transparent and fair refund and cancellation policies. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, and returns across our platform services.
๐ก Key Point: CABII acts as a facilitator between buyers and sellers. We do not own the vehicles listed on our platform. Vehicle transactions and disputes are handled between buyer and seller.
1๏ธโฃ Membership Refund Policy
1.1 Premium Membership Plans
If you purchase a premium membership and wish to cancel within the specified cancellation window:
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refund if you cancel within 7 days of purchase
- No Questions Asked: We refund without asking for reasons
- Processing Time: 5-7 business days
1.2 Post-Cancellation Window
Memberships cancelled after the 7-day window are non-refundable. However:
- Remaining membership balance can be transferred to next renewal cycle (non-transferable)
- Premium features will be deactivated immediately upon cancellation
- Ads posted during active membership will remain listed for their full duration
1.3 How to Request Membership Refund
- Log in to your CABII account
- Go to "My Profile" โ "Membership"
- Click "Cancel Membership" โ "Request Refund"
- Provide reason (optional) and submit
- Confirmation email within 24 hours
- Refund processed to original payment method within 5-7 business days
โ ๏ธ Important: Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at purchase. CABII is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment processor.
2๏ธโฃ Ad Posting Cancellation Policy
2.1 Free Ad Cancellation
You can cancel your free listing at any time:
- Instant Cancellation: Ad removed from platform immediately
- No Charges: Zero cancellation fees
- Re-posting: You can post new ads anytime
2.2 Premium Ad Cancellation
Premium listings (featured, highlighted, urgent sale) cancellation:
- Within 24 Hours: 100% refund of premium ad fees
- 24-48 Hours: 50% refund
- After 48 Hours: Non-refundable (ad remains active until expiry)
2.3 Ad Removal Reasons
CABII reserves the right to remove listings if:
- Vehicle is sold (seller requested removal)
- Listing violates platform policies
- Fraudulent or misleading information detected
- Seller account is suspended/terminated
3๏ธโฃ Sell in 48 Hours Program Cancellation
3.1 Before Vehicle Inspection
If you enroll in "Sell in 48 Hours" and cancel before inspection:
- Full Refund: 100% of program fees refunded
- No Inspection Charges: Zero charges
- Processing: Refund within 3-5 business days
3.2 After Vehicle Inspection
If inspection is completed but you wish to cancel:
- Inspection Fee: Non-refundable (โน0-500 based on location)
- Program Fee: 50% refund available
- No Sale Guarantee Void: If buyer not found within 48 hours
3.3 After Buyer Confirmation
Once buyer confirms interest and agreement is signed:
- Non-Refundable: Seller cannot cancel without buyer consent
- Dispute Resolution: Contact CABII support for mediation
- Cancellation Fee: โน5,000 penalty if seller cancels arbitrarily
โ ๏ธ Important: The "Sell in 48 Hours" program provides guaranteed buyer identification, not guaranteed vehicle sale. Actual transaction terms are negotiable between buyer and seller.
4๏ธโฃ Vehicle Transaction Disputes
4.1 CABII's Role
CABII facilitates transactions but:
- We are not party to vehicle sale agreements
- We do not hold buyer or seller funds
- Transaction disputes are between buyer and seller
- CABII acts as mediator for platform-related disputes only
4.2 Dispute Resolution
- Contact CABII Support: Within 48 hours of dispute
- Evidence Submission: Provide transaction details, messages, documents
- Investigation: CABII investigates for 7 business days
- Resolution: Decision communicated with reasons
- Appeal: 72-hour appeal window available
4.3 Refund Eligibility (Fraud Cases)
CABII may refund membership or service fees if:
- Fraudulent listing confirmed through investigation
- Seller identity verification failed
- Misleading vehicle information proven
- Platform's negligence caused financial loss
โน๏ธ Note: Vehicle transaction amounts (buyer-seller payments) are NOT managed by CABII and therefore cannot be refunded through CABII. Disputes must be resolved directly between parties or through legal channels.

7๏ธโฃ Non-Refundable Items
The following are NOT refundable:
- Ad listing fees after 7-day cancellation window (if applicable)
- Premium feature charges not cancelled within policy window
- Vehicle inspection fees (non-recoverable cost)
- Platform transaction fees (for completed transactions)
- Third-party service charges (insurance, loan EMI, RC transfer)
8๏ธโฃ Account Suspension/Termination
8.1 Account Suspension
If CABII suspends your account due to:
- Policy violations
- Fraudulent activity
- Multiple complaints
Result: Any pending refunds may be withheld pending investigation.
8.2 Account Termination
Upon permanent account closure:
- All active ads are removed
- Refund eligibility is reviewed
- Eligible refunds processed within 10 business days
- Re-registration is prohibited (per terms)
9๏ธโฃ Policy Changes & Updates
CABII reserves the right to modify this policy anytime with 30 days' notice. Changes will be communicated via:
- Email notification to registered email address
- In-app notification in user dashboard
- Policy page update with "Last Updated" date
Continued use of CABII platform after policy changes constitutes acceptance.

Step-by-Step Process:
- Submit Complaint: Use "Help & Support" section in app/website
- Acknowledgment: Receive ticket number within 2 hours
- Investigation: 7 business days for complete investigation
- Response: Detailed resolution communicated
- Appeal: 72-hour appeal window if unsatisfied
- Escalation: Senior team review for unresolved issues
